| Life has been stupidly busy lately. Most of you know I'm just finishing my 3rd and final year of uni, so dissertationing has taken over my life. Add exams and various other assignments on top of that, and I become another example of LJ fail :P
Basically, this post is to reassure everyone that I am still alive and to apologise profusely for my lack of communicative skills. I will be a better LJ friend in future, I promise.
Everyone else ok?

| Edit: I completed the 5km Race For Life with my sister and my nan on Sunday 10th May. Thanks to everyone who donated and/or offered support, it really means a lot and I appreciate it. The race was in aid of Cancer Research UK (and if that isn't enough, I did it on a busted knee!) and any further donations will always be welcome - www.justgiving.com/jenniferogormanThank you! *** I'm doing the Race For Life in Aylesbury on May 10th 2009 and would really love support. I've got a donation page at http://www.justgiving.com/jenniferogorman and all donations received will go to Cancer Research UK. Please help me support this amazing cause. Thank you. | |

| Does anyone want 4 free tickets to the Justin Lee Collins show on Tuesday? The recording takes place in the London Television Studios, Upper Ground, Waterloo. I've been sent the tickets, but can't make it, so if anyone wants them (you don't have to use all 4 tickets), let me know & I'll send them on. 18+ only, I'm afraid. | |

| Here's the deal: 1 - Go to "wikipedia." Hit “random” or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:RandomThe first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band. 2 - Go to "Random quotations" or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album. 3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days” or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7daysThird picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover. 4 - Use photoshop or similar to put it all together. 5 - Post it with this text and tag the friends you want to join in. I can't be arsed to tag, so anyone can do this, I really don't mind either way. I quite liked the result I got with this actually. You can find it under the cut: ( Band Album meme )- Tags:meme
- Mood:okay
 - Music:Man Utd vs. Inter Milan football match

| I was re-watching last week’s Live At The Apollo and spotted Bradley James in the audience (again!), looking as gorgeous as ever. He clearly needed screencapping, so I obliged. ( Bradley at LATA )Then I found a link to a short film Colin Morgan’s in… must have been a while ago, he looks much younger, maybe a drama school thing. The clip can be found here and screencaps (not the best quality, I’m afraid) are under the cut. As for why it’s on this ‘Ireland’s Greatest Chef’ website, I have absolutely no idea. ( Colin in short film )Oh, and the brilliant simply_numptylinked me to this video clip of Colin and Bradley on GMTV this morning. Colin seems more confident, but still looks very thin next to Bradley. | |

| Today's not been good. I went ice skating for a few hours to take my mind off things and it helped while I was actually skating, but sadly hasn't lasted.
Basically, my brother's been kicked out of the family home. He's 2 years younger than me and we've always been close, so naturally I'm worried about him. He's staying with our grandparents for now, which is fine; what I'm worried about is that he'll go off to live with our biological father, which will fuck my brother right up. I don't know. Logically, I know he'll be fine, things will blow over in a couple of months and he'll likely be back home again, especially if he finds (and sticks with) a job, any job. I guess as the eldest sibling, it's normal to worry, that's what big sisters do after all. Knowing that doesn't untie the knots in my stomach though. Hug-type sympathy, anyone?
Had an argument with one of the local Bible bashers today too. Apparently writing on your hand is "defacing the tapestry of God". Bloody hell.
On a more positive note, I've been writing some more original fiction lately, which I think has the potential to be something actually good. | |

| I really want to adopt little Tiffany from Eastenders. She is the cutest thing EVER and I actually love her :) Wanky Boy R is being wanky again. Tosser. Sometimes I wonder why I'm friends with him, he only ever gets in touch when he wants something really and always expects me to drop everything and come running. And it really annoys me that he NEVER comes to lectures (he's been to one since November) because "I already know it all" and then suddenly becomes all confused when essays are due to try and get help (read as: other people to write the buggers for him). I repeat: tosser. In other, much happier news, this week's horoscopes are finally here! ( Horoscopes under the cut. ) | |
